A Very Special Gift
It's finally time to reveal to you the Super Secret Project! ^^
As you know, this project has been finished for some time now but I wasn't able to give it to the person it was made for right away and I didn't want to ruin the surprise. Yesterday we finally were able to give the gift.
This project was a collaboration between me and my mother and it was a very special gift for the new addition to our family! My brother just became a father to a wonderful little boy! =D It is his first son and we are all thrilled and over the moon! =D
He was born one month before the due time so he has been in the hospital, in the incubator. He was finally able to come home this past Monday!
We made him this colourful baby blanket so he can be comfy and warm and be reminded of his grandma and auntie! ^^
This baby blanket was made from the 27-28-577B Merino Wool Blanket pattern by Pierrot (Gosyo Co., Ltd) and we used a special yarn for babies. We also used a generous portion of love and affection! ^^
This is what I like the most about handmade projects, the fact that you are able to gift someone who means so much to you with something that you put so much love and care into doing it!
I hope he has many wonderful dreams wrapped up in his new blanket ^^
