In my Project Bag

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great weekend!

This weekend I decided to take a break from all things crochet/blog/computer related and get out of the house. On Saturday me and my family went out for lunch and had lots of fun! It's so good to see everybody together! Yesterday me and my mom went out for a 9,5km walk in the morning.

Today I'm back full of energy to jump right into my crochet!

First of all I want to show you the needle case I've been making for my mom. Yes, it's finally finished!

I used two different purple shades because I know that my mom likes those colors and used the white to make it lighter to the eye and also because I like the contrast between the colors.

I made two little straps on each side of the case to work has closure.

After many tries I ended up choosing these tiny flowers for the strap to hold on to. I had tried pompons, other flowers, but none seemed right, it wasn't until I tried these that I was satisfied =)

My mom really liked it and now her knitting needles are all snug and neat inside the case ^^

That's one project finished and now I'm ready to taken on some more! Tomorrow I'm going to start working on the free patterns for Christmas! =D

But first let's see how the other projects are coming along!

Slipper boot.jpg

I have one slipper boot almost finished. I ran out of yarn but tomorrow I'll go out to buy another skein. =)

Christmas Elf Ami is getting cuter each day! ^^

Now I'm playing hairdresser with her. I'm thinking of doing braids, one on each side, What do you think?

For now that's all! I hope to have Christmas Elf Ami and the slipper boots finished buy next week!

Don't forget to check in to see the free Christmas patterns!

Happy crafting!
